The recent return to Spain of Alexia Rivas and Ana MarÃa Aldón after their participation as “ghosts of the past” in the successful program Survivientes 2023 has not left anyone indifferent. This Sunday, in Conexión Honduras, Alexia Rivas has been reunited with Manuel Cortés.
While Alexia Rivas shared her experiences on the island, Manuel Cortés could not contain himself and decided to intervene to confront her about the negative comments she had dedicated to him during the contest. “You’ve spent a lot of time talking bad about me, without any education. It’s important that you know that,” the visibly upset singer snapped.
Undaunted, Alexia responded firmly: “If you don’t want to be judged, maybe you shouldn’t have been on Survivor. I’m a contributor to the show and I’m here to give my opinion.”
Manuel, for his part, was quick to explain how he felt when he heard some of Alexia’s comments: “I feel very proud of my contest compared to the one I was able to see from you. I don’t have any grudge against you, but when I’ve I’ve come out, I’ve seen your behavior towards me and I think that you have some grudge against me. I don’t understand why because we’ve gotten along very well, so I don’t understand your subjugation against me.”
Alexia Rivas did not remain silent and replied: “I met you in 2019 at a fair in Seville, but since then we have not had any other contact. At first, I thought you were a good person, but during the contest I did not like your attitude, And as a contributor to Survivors, I have a responsibility to express it.”
Manuel Cortés reacted by saying: “It is lawful for you to express your opinion, but it is one thing to say that you do not like my participation and quite another to insinuate more serious things, where you have been quite wrong. If someone can get out of this situation well, it’s you”.
The explosive confrontation between Manuel Cortés and Alexia Rivas shows that the tensions generated during the contest are still latent, adding a dose of intensity to the set of Survivors.
