Save me is birthday. This Thursday, April 27, the Telecinco program celebrates its 14th anniversary on the air with a very special edition, dedicated entirely to one of its most remembered components: Mila Ximénez.

The television collaborator was part of the space from the day it premiered, in 2009, and until her sad death in 2021. That is why her team did not want to miss the opportunity to pay her most heartfelt tribute on such a date special. The collaborators of Sálvame have put aside their differences to say goodbye to her partner with some of the most heartfelt words.

Jorge Javier Vázquez has been the master of ceremonies of a program that has had some of the historical components of Sálvame: Terelu Campos, Belén Esteban, María Patiño, Kiko Hernández, Kiko Matamoros, Lydia Lozano and Víctor Sandoval. All of them have remembered Mila from the heart and have looked back to recover some of the best moments that she gave on television.

Terelu has been the first to pay homage to her partner. “For me, in the last years of my life, Mila has been fundamental,” she began by saying. “To kill each other, to laugh, to cry… For everything”, she recalled a person who, in the words of Jorge Javier, is “one of the figures of entertainment television” in Spain.

Not only Mila’s program partners have wanted to remember her on the anniversary of Save me. The program has produced an extensive piece where some of the usual presenters and collaborators from all over Mediaset have also said goodbye to it.

Ana Rosa Quintana, Risto Mejide, Lara Álvarez, Alessandro Lequio or Carlos Sobera have been many of the usual faces of Telecinco and Cuatro who have spoken openly about her. “She did everything she had to do to favor the network, her program and her colleagues,” recalled Ana Rosa. “Wherever she intervened, she was free, and freedom is something that we should all pursue,” Mejide defended for her part from the set of her space, Everything is a lie.
