The 2024 edition of Survivors is already underway on the Honduran islands of Cayos Cochinos, and so far the first week has left notable events in the sand. From Zayra Gutiérrez’s injury to the multiple arguments between various participants, the atmosphere has skyrocketed since the initial helicopter jump. However, coexistence and challenges must continue, as happened this Thursday.
The members of Playa Olimpo and Playa Condena have faced each other in a location game, which would allow their members to change the location they were in during their stay. At the same time, it has turned out to be a test of survival for Pedro García Aguado and Miri Pérez-Cabrero, who have seen how their companions had to cover them with water until they had to hold their breath in apnea mode.
The bulk of the challenge consisted of overcoming a small circuit of obstacles until reaching their companions, located in a small pit covered with a plastic protection. The complicated part of the test was carrying buckets of water filled to the top, without them falling or committing any infraction, and pouring them into the pools of the chosen ones, who would then have to hold their breath.
One of the notable facts of the test has been the lack of participation of Carmen Borrego. The former collaborator of Sálvame along with the program’s presenter, Jorge Javier Vázquez, wanted to be the Olimpo participant who was absent from the test, although in the end they were not allowed to do so. From then on, she was only able to fill a single bucket of water before falling onto the first seesaw, staying on the sidelines for the next few minutes.
The challenge lasted for more than 10 minutes without either of the two submerged having to endure in apnea mode. Pérez-Cabrero blocked his airways in the 12th minute, while Olimpo’s members had problems due to a broken rocker arm. Finally, the lack of apnea on the part of García Aguado has allowed Condena to win the game, thanks to a 3-minute dive by Miri.
After their victory, the members of Condena have decided to exchange their positions and stay in Playa Olimpo for the next week. Likewise, they have been able to take the group rewards from the previous tests, including fire. Jorge Javier Vázquez congratulated Miri Pérez-Cabrero for her apnea of ??2 minutes and 10 seconds, while he also took the opportunity to make a bit of a joke about the absence of Carmen Borrego.
