Still with the hangover of the New Year, the television networks return this Tuesday with their usual programming schedule. All morning shows begin this 2024 with their usual magazines, some of them with their star holiday presenters and others, as is the case with Aruser@s, with their entire cast.

In fact, the program presented by Alfonso Arús on La Sexta experienced an unusual technical failure early today. Or, at least, that is what has been perceived from home. And, in the middle of one of his usual talks, something surprising has slipped in: the empty set of Espejo Público.

January 2, 2024 begins with a television anecdote. And it couldn’t be any other way. On this occasion, everything happened on Aruser@s of La Sexta, the most successful morning magazine on television, while the presenter and collaborators commented on some of the most viral videos of last year.

The video in question was that of an elderly woman from the United States and her love story. “What conclusions can we draw from his flirtations? Well, he met two of them at bingo, one at a funeral, but these relationships have ended; only one ghosted him, but another died,” explained Hans Arús.

And he continued: “We can also conclude that the last person she met is her new boyfriend. So we will be attentive if we have a date.” To which her father, the presenter, added: “From a wedding comes another wedding and from a funeral, another funeral comes.”

And, at that moment, around 7:23 in the morning, the image of the empty set of Espejo Público suddenly appeared and remained on for several seconds. As soon as central control realized what happened, they launched the promotion of a series of Atresplayer Premium.

After this, he reconnected with the Aruser@s set. They did it on two occasions. The first time you could barely see two seconds of the set. Then, they launched more content from the Atresmedia streaming platform again. A minute later, they finally connected with Arús, who had not even found out about the technical problem that had occurred live.
