Kiko Hernández and Fran Antón will seal their love this Saturday, September 16 in Melilla. The couple, whose love was forged behind the scenes and subsequently remained hidden for many months, will say yes in a ceremony that is both highly anticipated and intimate.
The day promises to be a full-fledged celebration. Melilla will witness this commitment surrounded by families, friends and, of course, some famous faces from the world of entertainment such as Belén Esteban, Kiko Matamoros and Lydia Lozano, who had an accident in the elevator. But, beyond the media coverage that the union of the two actors entails, the essence of this story lies in its genuine beginning and development.
On June 13, Kiko could not contain his love when he declared in Sálvame what was already intuited from all the times they had been caught together: “I have found the man of my life, the best father who can help me on this path that I have with my daughters and the person I love most in this world.”
That confession on television confirmed the rumors and, with a humorous touch, gave some details about how they kept their love private, but knowing that they were only talking about that: “Our dates were very fun because they were somewhat clandestine, until they started dating.” There are photos of us everywhere.
It was in the field of theater, during the rehearsals of Distinto, where the romance between Kiko and Fran was forged. It wasn’t an instant crush. As Kiko confessed, “at first he was a normal companion, he didn’t feel anything when she saw him.” However, over time, that companion transformed into something more.
One of the episodes that brought them together the most was quite unpleasant. The former Sálvame collaborator said that “a person started bitching at both of us” and that made them get closer. In this way, they strengthened their relationship “more every day, every day a more intimate relationship.”
This connection reached a point where they could no longer hold back. And what was a 30-second kiss on stage lasted much longer. “When we left there, we held hands, took a taxi and decided that we wanted to be together, I was the one who took the first step, I kissed him, he freaked out,” Kiko said. From then on, she began “the most beautiful love story I have ever experienced in my life.”
This entire relationship has been widely pursued by the press. From Sálvame a great mobilization was orchestrated to catch Kiko and Fran in some way, but they never got the precious kiss or other gesture that confirmed the relationship. What there was was many testimonies and supposed evidence. However, Kiko always remained on her side and always denied the relationship, stating that they were only friends.
