The doors of the most popular restaurant on the small screen reopened for another week to welcome a new batch of singles, who came to First Dates with the best of intentions. In addition, the Cuatro program faces its most special week, since this coming Wednesday, February 14, they will celebrate Valentine’s Day in style.

And although many think that the Mediaset program overflows with complicity and love in each of its installments, many of the dates between its different diners are perfect proof that love does not always triumph. Something that Alfonso and María experienced on Monday night. The 36-year-old bachelor from Madrid confessed that he got carried away by the energies that the other person transmitted to him. ”I transmit peace, relaxation and good vibes,” he commented. He wanted to find a life partner to have a traditional relationship.

His date was going to be María, a 33-year-old from Malaga, who was easy at meeting people, but very easy at truly connecting. The first impression among the singles was very different. While she was totally shocked when she met Alfonso, the bachelor was greatly disappointed. ”I said wow,” María commented. ”I was expecting the truth like something else,” he commented.

However, the man from Madrid, who was unable to hide his disappointment, threw a barb at María as soon as they met. The single woman explained that she came from Malaga and Alfonso responded as follows: “I like the north better.” María was completely surprised and she asked the reason for this statement. ”I like the cold more than the heat,” explained the bachelor.

Shortly after, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where the singles began the evening toasting the great opportunity that First Dates had given them. ”It has good energy, I see a little flame,” she asserted.

In addition, the man from Madrid impressed the single woman with his different jobs. ”In the mornings I make car parts and I have also been studying to give foot massages,” he explained. ”You are a box of surprises,” she told him. But the interest in their lives was not mutual, and that was something that Alfonso made very clear. ”I have not asked any questions to find out more about her or her life,” he stated.

The date progressed and the singles continued to be at totally different points. María continued to discover aspects of Alfonso’s life, but he seemed increasingly cold, to the point that the so-called uncomfortable silences appeared. ”Physically it hasn’t caught my attention,” he declared.

In the final stretch of the dinner, María was honest and assured that Alfonso had exceeded all her expectations, although she commented that it had seemed serious to her. Even so, the Andalusian woman was willing to have a second meeting, but the bachelor refused to have a romantic relationship with her.
