Ana de Armas made her debut this past Saturday on one of the most mythical programs on American television: Saturday Night Live (NBC). The Spanish-Cuban actress appeared in the humor space turned into a Hollywood star and joking in Spanish and English.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. I’ve had an amazing year and I’m so happy to be here hosting tonight’s show,” she said in her native language at the start of her monologue. Quickly, she switched languages. “It’s a joke, I speak English,” the actress continued to say in this language, explaining that in three weeks she will officially become an American citizen and that she learned English by watching Friends.
For this triumphant appearance, Ana opted for one of the designs that never fails: the black minidress, also known as Little Black Dress. Once again, the protagonist of Blonde relied on Louis Vuitton, her leading firm, to dazzle with her casual and sophisticated look.
De Armas wore a sleeveless leather effect design, with a round neckline and a belt detail with gold buttons that added an original and striking touch to the outfit. The young woman completed her look with minimalist black sandals and a quite natural beauty look, with her cheeks highlighted in pink, eyeliner to define her look and her loose hair, parted in the middle and carefree waves .
Before her participation in the program, Ana was already causing a sensation with her look at dinner with the SNL producers. Once again, Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of Louis Vuitton, signed her elegant and trendy look with black as the main color.
The actress opted for carrot-cut tailored trousers combined with a sweater with fuchsia pink polka dots from the Yayoi Kusama collection for the house. A comfortable outfit that was finished off with the Coussin PM bag made of quilted leather and comfortable-heeled ankle boots.
