Ana Mena is immersed in the promotion of her latest album Bellodrama. The artist from Málaga will tour various points of the national geography in the coming weeks. In addition, the singer has been in Italy these days with several shows, but she has had to stop along the way and postpone several of them due to medical problems.
“First of all I would like to express to you that I am also very sad and for us it is never nice to have to cancel a show, there is nothing I like more in the world than getting on stage and being with you,” Mena wrote in a statement, in which he justified the cancellation of his concert in Burgos.
The artist wanted to explain the reason for the cancellation of the show in Burgos, which is none other than a hoarseness that she has been “resolving daily with the use of some medications to somehow get out of trouble.”
But the patch hasn’t worked: “Just yesterday I had to go back to them to go out and sing at LoveMi. When you do two songs under the effects of these anti-inflammatories, it may seem that nothing is wrong with you, but if there is no voice rest, the situation continues.”
The next day, her “throat was no longer responding.” “I have gone to two doctors this afternoon and they have all ordered me to rest my voice and continue with the treatment. This is the reason why we have had to cancel,” says the Andalusian.
The singer also wanted to thank her followers for their understanding: “I hope I can give you the show you deserve very soon. Thank you for your love and for always understanding me.”
Mena (Estepona, 1997) has become one of the most successful artists in Spain thanks to the release in recent months of songs such as Música ligera (award for the “best song” of 2022 at Los40 Music Awards), Quiero decirte junto to Abraham Mateo and Las 12 with Belinda.
