Joaquín Torres and Raúl Prieto have shared a moment of unity after it was announced that they have decided to put distance between them, without there being an official breakup, in order to cope with the hard times that the architect of celebrities is going through.
The two have been together in the final goodbye to Torres’ mother, who recently passed away and left the Y Ahora Sonsoles collaborator completely devastated. This moment of pain due to the loss of a mother is combined with the war between brothers and a serious motorcycle accident.
Although the couple has decided to take a break in their coexistence momentarily, Prieto wanted to be by her husband’s side on what is “a complicated day.” As the architect told Y Ahora Sonsoles just before entering the church, “all” of the family’s loved ones attended the funeral.
That includes the director of Supervivientes 2024 but not Julio, the brother who has caused the fratricidal war between the Torres due to his deceptions and economic scams: “My brother Julio died many years ago. But we are all here. I hope he doesn’t come and don’t ruin the day.” The patriarch of the family, very affected by having to say goodbye to his wife, has even threatened to leave if his son appears on a day that is as sad as it is important.
Beatriz Cortázar, collaborator of the magazine presented by Sonsoles Ónega, wanted to highlight the great love that Prieto and Torres still have despite everything they are going through. In this sense, she wanted to remember that “the decision to live apart” is because the architect is “overwhelmed with problems.”
Precisely, Torres has spoken openly about this matter. A few days ago she told Europa Press that they want to preserve her relationship and mental well-being after having been suffering a lot. “Raúl has been enduring the unspeakable for a long time and you couldn’t ask for more,” she said.
Despite this bad streak, Torres was very clear about the importance of Prieto in his life, describing him as “the love of my life” and showing a deep awareness of how his personal situation has affected his partner: “I have decided to take a little space for his mental health. He needs it.”
