Flowers for the centerpieces, decorative elements and even the toilet paper. It seems that by not leaving, the guests at the long-awaited wedding of Kiko Matamoros and Marta López Álamo did not leave even the crumbs on the cake at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz hotel in Madrid, one of the most exclusive in the capital.

The couple threw the house out the window to celebrate their wedding banquet, which would have cost more than 55,000 euros, but it seems that some of their guests were carried away by joy, good food and mysterious water first class, because they destroyed everything they saw in their path, leaving a record of their bad manners and little taste when it came to attending events.

A wedding banquet that began after the ecclesiastical ceremony in the central Basilica of San Miguel, in the heart of the capital; and that brought together more than two hundred relatives, colleagues and friends who did not want to miss the moment.

A party that lasted until well into the early morning, not without the hotel staff being somewhat stunned to see the behavior of some of those guests, who devastated practically everything, as has already been reported on several television programs.

“Perfumes were stolen, but also the centerpieces. They took the flowers that adorned the tables in their containers […] They broke the rules, some guests smoked openly in the room. In addition, the Ritz has valuable historical carpets and they were worried”, revealed Amor Romeira in the Fiesta program, in the mouth of the hotel workers.

Alejandra Rubio, who attended the event, corroborated the version from the Canary Islands for the program. “Some guests stole the perfume bottles from the bathrooms. It was a somewhat special colony because Marta collaborates with a well-known luxury brand that put various things in the celebration and they took it away,” he said, describing what happened as something “terrible “.

Something corroborated by some witnesses who have spoken to other media, such as the Look portal, which assures that in the hotel “they had never seen anything like this before in any celebration at the hotel.”

The Mandarin Oriental Ritz hotel is considered one of the most emblematic buildings in the capital, as well as a benchmark in holding unique and unforgettable events, as explained on the well-known Bodas.net portal. The hall and its spaces for events offer you beautiful views of the Prado Museum, which also combine masterfully with its timeless elegance and contemporary style, making it the perfect place for such a special occasion as a wedding.

It must be said that the wedding was a complete success, as expected. At the hotel, the more than two hundred guests were able to taste an exclusive menu prepared by chef Quique Dacosta, with three Michelin stars, who put his creativity to work so that nobody lacked absolutely nothing and capable of satisfying palates. More demanding.

A menu that consisted of cherry gazpacho with carabinero; a crispy sea bass with mushroom duxelle; a beef tenderloin on potato mousse. For dessert, chocolate foam and petit fours coffee. To water the palate, two exquisite wines: a special José Pariente Cuveé and an Alonso del Yerro 2018, as well as Moët Chandon champagne. The couple spared no expense.
