This Wednesday, November 22, the TikTok Awards 2023 gala arrives. The Spanish community of the social network celebrates the third edition of awards that seek to recognize the talent, creativity and diversity of the creators, brands and artists who use the platform in the country.
Specifically, creators and brands will be awarded in eight different categories: Entertainment, Sports, Comedy, Dissemination, Fashion and Beauty, Gastronomy and Travel, Gaming and Social Impact. And one creator will be recognized in four individual categories: Public Figure, TikTok Star of the Year, Artist of the Year and Videopodcast.
Eva Soriano and Benja Serra will be the masters of ceremonies of a gala that will begin at 10 p.m., and that can be followed live on the official TikTok account on the same social network. Along with them, Iban García will act as a reporter and will speak with the different nominees before officially starting the event.
Among the long list of nominees for the different categories are many names known to those who regularly frequent TikTok, a platform that has more than 18 million users in Spain alone.
Artists such as Aitana or Quevedo may receive the award for artist of the year, while the pilot Fernando Alonso or the chef Jordi Roca start as favorites in the category of Public Figure of the year. As for the influencer universe, names such as DjMariio, Ariane Hoyos, Emma Geikie or Lola Lolita appear as nominees in the sports, gaming or entertainment categories, as well as creator of the year.
In fashion and beauty, Nuria Andraos or Fran de Solas could also win an award from TikTok in 2023. Finally, the social network reserves a category for those users who have made diversity visible and promoted social change, with nominees such as Rubén Avilés or the psychologist Clau P.
