Terelu Campos faces its most bitter Holy Week. Like every year, the television collaborator has moved to her native Málaga to enjoy a very special week with her loved ones.
Unfortunately, the presenter has had a personal challenge: it is the first Holy Week that she has spent without the presence of her mother, the legendary journalist María Teresa Campos, who died last September.
Her sister, Carmen Borrego, has also not been able to be present in Andalusia to support the family, since she continues in Honduras competing in Survivors; Yes, it may not be for long.
After suffering anxiety attacks, the medical team of the Telecinco program has recommended Carmen to leave the television program, making Terelu Campos comment on what happened on the set of De Corazón, on TVE.
During her visit, the collaborator revealed the two personal promises she has kept despite the rough patch she is going through: “I grew up in Malaga and being at Holy Week is a personal and family tradition, but for years I have been celebrating two promises: that of Holy Monday with the Captive and that of Palm Sunday with the Virgin of Health.” Terelu points out.
Regarding her promises, Terelu affirms: “I made the one about the Captive when I had my first cancer and two of the sisters of the Brotherhood put a handkerchief on the Virgin’s right chest. The day the Virgin came out in a procession as she passed For me they came to give me that handkerchief and since then, when the route is no longer official, I get under the mantle of the Virgin and be there praying for a while”.
Likewise, she revealed that the Captive’s promise is not new: “It dates back many years because I didn’t get pregnant and I told him ‘if I get pregnant I will come every year to see you in a procession’ and I do.”
