That it is not the best year for Terelu Campos, it is nothing new. The television collaborator has had to see in the same year how the program she worked on came to an end, after 14 years on the air, and how her mother, María Teresa Campos, is going through a delicate state of health.

The severe cognitive deterioration suffered by the matriarch of the Campos family worries her daughters a lot. “I can’t stand seeing my mother suffer anymore,” Terelu confessed. “I cry without her noticing. She notices because she knows exactly what we are like,” she added.

Despite these hard times, Terelu Campos has not missed the opportunity to celebrate her 58th birthday surrounded by her loved ones. In addition, he has not hesitated to pose for the press, like all his guests, at the door of a well-known restaurant in Madrid.

Alejandra Rubio, Carmen Borrego, her niece, Kike Calleja, Raquel Abad or Raúl Prieto and Joaquín Torres, are some of the relatives and friends closest to the presenter who did not want to miss this moment. However, if something is certain, it is that she has not been able to be completely happy without her mother.

“My balance of the year is calm. Positive professionally, and personally, everyone knows it,” Terelu Campos began to recount to Europa Press journalists. “There have been years in which I have held a celebration with many more people, but this year that is not the case,” he added, justifying some absences.

Although, yes, he plans to celebrate his birthday in a more fun way, beyond this intimate dinner: “I’ll do something privately afterwards, with my girls on Thursdays, at home, we’ll have a great time, but little by little” .

Terelu Campos is trying to lead her life in the best possible way, despite the criticism she is receiving for how she treats the issue of her mother in the media. “There are many people who during all this last time have allowed themselves the luxury of speaking without knowledge,” wrote the collaborator on her Reading blog. In addition, she put on the table that it seemed very “curious” to be judged for talking about María Teresa Campos, her mother.

“I’m fed up, but very FED UP!”, he said, without cutting himself. “All of you who talk about her, have you seen my mother or do you really know how she is? It’s enough to insult, it’s enough to slander and it’s enough to defame us,” she concluded, very angry with the situation.
