'TardeAR' reveals the moment in which Isabel Pantoja introduces Mariló and her brother Agustín

Isabel Pantoja is one of the most celebrated singers in the history of music in Spain. The Sevillian tonadillera has toured all possible areas of Spain and Latin America in a career that is almost 50 years long, starting in the mid-seventies. However, a song in the 1980s was the one that transformed everything: Sailor of lights, in honor of her ex-husband Paquirri.

The artist has been the protagonist of current music, heart and general news for a long time, with many of those scenes immortalized through image or audio. Even so, there are still some pieces to discover, as the TardeAR program revealed this Friday afternoon. Frank Blanco, after welcoming the viewers of La Promesa, promised them an unreleased recording from three decades ago.

The video was recorded on August 30, 2000, on the eve of a triple round of concerts that Isabel Pantoja was to hold in Córdoba. She arrived at the city’s train station accompanied by her mother and her then representative, María Navarro. It is in the welcome of her companions that Mariló can be seen hugging Isabel and talking to her, dating back nearly 24 years to her long-standing friendship.

At the exit of the station, the tonadillera would introduce Mariló to her brother for the first time, thus meeting the two people who have been closest to her in recent years. TardeAR has shared the recording with great fanfare, cataloging the scene as a “historic moment.” This moment that until now was lost has been shown 24 hours after Isabel participates in the Primavera Pop in Madrid.

This clip comes to Telecinco screens after Isabel Pantoja’s most recent visit to Córdoba, the city where her friend Mariló resides. At the beginning of the month, the Sevillian woman went to the city to undergo a medical check-up, where Agustín Pantoja was also there. That was the first time that the three ended up being photographed since the friendship connection between the two became known, a duo whose reason was uncovered by Antonio Rossi.

“It was Mariló’s father who made Paquirri the three Christs, the three medals and the three cords. Paquirri made a specific order for Mariló’s father and since then the family friendship has come,” the collaborator revealed in Let’s See, referring to the bullfighter’s characteristic gold objects. The program also covered Isabel’s medical visit, ensuring that everything went without a problem.
