This past summer, what many consider the wedding of the year took place. It was on July 8 when Tamara Falcó and Íñigo Onieva said “I do” at the El Rincón farm, before going on their honeymoon to South Africa. It was one of the most notable events in the world of the heart, with more than 300 well-known guests behind the altar and a complete celebration. However, there were several details that not everyone was aware of.

Tamara Falcó herself has been in charge of revealing a curious anecdote related to the nuptials on Instagram. According to her words, through some symbolic gestures with the wine and the glasses, she was able to emotionally feel the presence of her father in the ceremony. According to her, the late Carlos Falcó once carried out a similar action at the wedding of his sister Xandra, before it was replicated by an acquaintance of the fifth Marquis of Griñón.

“One of the most important details on the menu was the wine, an element that represented my father. For this reason, we serve the triple A wine dedicated to his daughters Xandra, Alejandra, Aldara and Tamara. We also serve my sister’s rosé wine XF Sierra Cantabria (which you have to try because it’s wonderful!)”, she told through a story. Beyond the wine choice, it was an action by a friend of his father that caught his attention the most.

“In the process, I remembered an anecdote from my family. At Xandra’s wedding my father decided to change all the wine glasses because he didn’t like them and he stressed to us the importance of drinking from a good glass. His friend Jordi Segura, in honor of him, gave us all his magnificent Riedel pieces for the celebration. I believe a lot in signs and this was one more reason that my father was super present,” the aristocrat completed in her publication.

This is just one of the many responses that the current Marchioness of Griñón keeps from her nuptials with Íñigo Onieva. Through an interview in Joaquín, the rookie was also able to share an important incident that almost disrupted part of the wedding plans. Speaking with the former Betis soccer player, the socialite confessed to being the victim of a fire that affected her outfit for the designated day: “Four days before the wedding, the courier truck that carried my shoes burned.”

The shoe ended up completely burned, but a replacement could be found in time. However, Falcó highlighted with Joaquín all the setbacks and obstacles that he had to overcome before passing through the altar. “The more effort something costs me, the more I put in effort. It’s not that getting married was a challenge, but it was a bit of a challenge because things were happening,” he commented, even confessing that he had lost his wedding ring for the interview and was carrying a spare.
