Suso Olivares, from 'Temptation Island', accused of raping a minor

Suso Olivares, a contestant on the fourth edition of The Island of Temptations, faces a serious problem when he is accused of having allegedly raped a 17-year-old minor of Dutch nationality last April 2018. The events would have occurred in Puerto Rico of Gran Canaria, as revealed by Canarias7.

The one who was tempting in the reality show for couples and singles would have sexually abused the young woman in the Energy pub in the Puerto Rico Shopping Center, along with another friend. For this reason, the Prosecutor’s Office requests 11 years in prison.

The indictment shows in detail what would have happened on the night of April 30, 6 years ago. The alleged victim would have met Suso Olivares and his companion that same night, when she went to the pub with some friends. According to the Public Ministry, initially, the two accused were “dancing for a good part of the night,” until one of the two suggested that the minor go to the bathroom.

After having refused, and after several hours had passed, the young woman would have gone to the bathroom and Suso’s friend would have agreed with her “with a clear libidinous and lascivious purpose.” At that same moment, the alleged victim says that he sexually abused her, despite repeatedly telling him “to stop.”

In the report, revealed by the aforementioned media, it is recorded that, as soon as the friend left the bathroom, Suso Olivares entered “with the same purpose.” While this supposed new attack was taking place, the canary would not have hesitated to record what happened. After the minor’s request to stop what he was doing, the perpetrator agreed to delete the video “in exchange for performing fellatio on her.”

Given this, on June 3, Suso Olivares and his companion face a possible sentence of 11 years in prison and disqualification from holding any job or public office for 6 years. In turn, they could add the prohibition of approaching the minor within 500 meters and communicating with her for 15 years. Among other things, they also face compensation of 20,000 euros.

But it is not the first complaint that Suso Olivares has faced. Paola López, Miss Universe in 2018 and mother of her son, made public a few days ago the ordeal she would have gone through with Olvidares in their last year of relationship. “I have perceived fear, and that my life and that of my baby were in the hands of another person,” she expressed on her Instagram.

“On July 20, 2023, my partner grabbed me by the neck and threw me on the bed, trying to suffocate me with a cloth. Since it was not the first time I had faced these acts of violence, I decided to record everything to have evidence” , he added.

According to the ruling, published by Canarias7, Suso would have admitted this attack. For this reason, despite the fact that the Prosecutor’s Office requested 57 days of work for the benefit of the community, the judge decided to impose a sentence of 38 days. Likewise, he is subject to a restraining order of 500 meters for a period of eight months.
