Carlo Constanzia, son of actress Mar Flores, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for a continued crime of aggravated fraud. The news broke a few days ago and, since then, the actor has also tried to defend his version of events at different times.
After one of her victims broke her silence on Thursday afternoon in Y ahora Sonsoles, Constanzia has stepped forward and sat down to chat with Susanna Griso on Espejo público, a program on the same channel, Antena 3. There , the actor has made a harsh account of his experiences, even provoking the emotion of the presenter.
“I’ve had addiction and drug problems,” Carlo confessed live, assuring that he had “lived in a bubble of depression” that led him to attempt suicide. “When I commit these crimes, I am not in my right mind,” he also declared in Espejo público. Faced with the harsh testimony, Griso would get up from his chair and interrupt the guest to offer him his comfort.
“I really want to catch you around here,” said the journalist as she approached Constanzia and grabbed her hands. “Carlo, we all deserve second chances, you know that, right?” She continued, in a tone of clear emotion.
The son of Mar Flores responded to the presenter: “It’s a bit sad that in reality, when you’re a public figure, you have the power to have so much force against people, and I’m not just talking about it in my case, but it’s the case that I see every day with a lot of people”, he said, assuring that he felt “very identified” with their cases.
Susanna Griso’s attitude with Carlo Constanzia has not been liked by all viewers, who have poured all kinds of criticism of the communicator through social networks. “Interviewing an alleged criminal, who apparently has defrauded hundreds of thousands of euros and tells him ‘I want to hug you'”, wrote a user on Twitter at that moment.
