Jorge Javier Vázquez is back in the public sphere. The presenter of ‘Save me’ had been out of circulation for nine days for what was classified as a “temporary leave due to medical prescription”. Between the concern about the cancellation of the program that he directs and his state of health, many followers wondered when he would appear again and under what conditions. Something to which they have been able to respond thanks to some images published on Instagram.
The Catalan presenter was seen this past Thursday night in a theater in Madrid. It coincides that that was the night in which, under more regular circumstances, he would have presented the most recent Survivors gala. However, he appeared in one of the seats in the stalls of the Coliseum Theater, on the Gran VÃa of the capital, where you can currently see ‘Aladdin, the Musical’. But he was not alone, and it is that he was accompanied at all times by RocÃo Carrasco.
Although the original image was removed from the Instagram profile where it appeared, the account subsequently published several photographs of RocÃo and Jorge Javier entering the theater together. In the first image, they were both sitting next to each other in an empty row of seats. Behind him, a large group of spectators who went to witness the work together with the two celebrities. Given the long absence of the television presenter, the reactions came in cascade.
And it is that everyone had a comment with which to react to the first public images of Jorge Javier. From the positive comments about his appearance, to those who miss him due to his absence in ‘Save me’ and ‘Survivors’, to those who question what will happen when the Badalona native returns to the screens. Currently, there is no set date for his return to television, nor is there a clear window on the horizon.
The possible return of Jorge Javier Vázquez to Telecinco was anticipated by a colleague of his, Carlos Sobera. The one from Barakaldo acted as a substitute presenter at the penultimate gala of ‘Survivientes’, increasing concern among viewers and followers. However, Sobera was quick to respond and ensure that there was nothing to worry about. “He is unwell but nothing happens. He is at home relaxed, recovered and next Thursday he will come,” he said.
Despite this, the Basque presenter returned to occupy the Catalan position on the night of Thursday the 25th. For the moment, Jorge Javier Vázquez’s last appearance in a media outlet was on May 18, when he published an episode of his podcast , ‘Los burros de Fortunato’, in which he interviewed Yolanda DÃaz Pérez, Second Vice President of the Government and Minister of Labor and Social Economy.
