Maite Galdeano is once again in the media spotlight. The former Big Brother contestant is going through a difficult time related to her state of health. Galdeano has had polycythemia vera for a few years, a type of blood cancer, the mediation of which is very difficult to achieve.

This is how his own daughter, Sofía Suescun, told it a few days ago on social networks. The influencer reported that it is very difficult to get this medicine, which is supplied by a Spanish laboratory.

According to the Big Brother winner, her mother suffered an anxiety attack when she saw that she could not find her medicine in pharmacies. ”She was feeling unwell and barely had any medication left, she has gone to several pharmacies looking for it and none of them have it. We are talking about a treatment that, if not taken, can suffer a thrombus, stroke and even death due to the cancer she suffers from,” she explained in her Instagram stories.

But a few hours ago, Maite Galdeano reappeared on social networks with her daughter and son-in-law, sunbathing by the pool. Sofía Suescun’s mother seemed calm about the lack of her medicine in pharmacies. And it is that thanks to the speech that she gave Suescun several days ago, she has been able to find and acquire several boxes of Hydrea, the medicine that she needs.

Obtaining several boxes of the medicine has been a great relief for the family, who will be able to have a supply for several months. But the acquisition of medicines so quickly has set off alarm bells on social networks. In order to acquire the medicine, a prescription is needed and the influencer appeared the next day thanking her for the help she had received to get them.

”I have all these plus a few that you are sending me home. We have no words of gratitude,” declared the influencer. This situation has not gone unnoticed on social networks and many users have criticized the way to acquire medicines.

“It is a very dangerous drug, in fact we try to avoid prescribing it to people over 65,” wrote a user on social networks on the subject.
