To which Beatriz Cortázar responded with “and they invited you too, but you didn’t want to go”, thus revealing that the journalist was one of the people who was on that lucky list.
“Yessssss! No, I haven’t wanted to go, no,” Ónega replied. “In addition, I personally apologized to Isabel Preysler. She knows the reason and she understands it perfectly,” he made clear. “If she went for work, of course she understands it,” Cortázar replied, trying to get the reason for her absence.
“I’m not going to say it either,” said Ónega, implying that it was not a professional matter. Then, Pilar Vidal took a swipe at the presenter: “It was like a premier, I’ll clarify, because there are people who say it as if we had been at the NATO summit. She was a premier, what happens is that she has a house so big…”
Suddenly, the presenter received a message from a friend and wanted to share its content. “She has written to me and tells me how come I didn’t go to Isabel Preysler’s house,” she explained. “I felt very honored by her invitation, I told her, but, hey, girl, it couldn’t be done,” she wanted to settle. “Susanna Griso could have gone,” Cortazar said as a taunt.
