Already immersed in the electoral week, the different candidates take advantage of the last days of the campaign to ask for the vote of those citizens who have not yet decided who they will support this Sunday, July 23. The appointment with the polls is imminent and a good part of the strategy is concentrated in the media, where numerous interviews related to these general elections have taken place.

Pedro Sánchez and Alberto Núñez Feijóo, PSOE and PP candidates respectively, start out as the most prominent leaders, especially after the face-to-face between the two held at Atresmedia on Monday, July 10. The television appearances of the Prime Minister and the leader of the opposition have been very different, as reflected in the audience report prepared by Dos30 with data from Kantar Media.

The report, which takes into account the television appearances of both candidates in programs on generalist channels, shows a total of 17.5 million unique viewers. Both Sánchez and Feijóo have starred in different meetings throughout these two weeks of the campaign, although with different audiences between them.

It is the current President of the Government and candidate for re-election who concentrates a greater presence of unique spectators. Sánchez thus adds a total of 15,882,000 viewers, 34.4% of the Spanish population, with the set of interviews and debates in which he has been present.

For his part, the popular leader has been seen by 14,140,000 unique viewers in the meetings he has starred in during the campaign prior to the 23-J elections. Núñez Feijóo concentrates the television interest of 30.6% of the population of Spain.

Of course, both one and the other share a program with a larger audience: the Atresmedia face-to-face wins by a landslide and takes advantage of the double broadcast on Antena 3 and La Sexta to add 12,824,000 viewers between the two channels. In the case of their respective interviews in El hormiguero, Pedro Sánchez once again beat Feijóo in viewers, with 5,954,000 compared to 5,487,000 for the PP candidate.
