Shakira's surreal and complicated exercise before an awards ceremony: “Another day at the office”

Shakira is in one of her best moments. The singer is immersed in the promotion of her new album Women No Longer Cry, for which she is already preparing her world tour. Added to this is the good personal moment she is going through after her breakup with Gerard Piqué, having her family concentrated in Miami.

As if that were not enough, a week ago, the complaint he received for his 2018 fiscal year was first withdrawn by the Prosecutor’s Office and then archived by the judge considering that there was not sufficient evidence of a crime. With all this in order, she only has to enjoy the galas to which she is invited, and now she wanted to show how she prepares to face them.

Shakira’s fans have been shocked to see the video she uploaded to her Instagram stories. In this she appears with two people from her team helping her while she is with her hands on the ground doing one of her usual exercises. “Live from NY, another day at the office… working on my deltoids,” added the singer.

But if there was anything surprising, it was seeing her do these types of movements dressed in a dress and wearing extremely high-heeled boots. And not only that, but one of the people accompanying her appears holding her ponytail so that she doesn’t end up with her newly combed hair on the floor.

As you can see in the images, this would be the Colombian’s usual tone before an awards ceremony or any other event that takes place, when she has not yet had time to exercise. And that seems to have been it, since shortly after she went straight to TelevisaUnivision’s Upfront 101 gala.

This event serves to announce the network’s upcoming content, and one of them was the 25th Latin Grammy gala in Miami. For this, Shakira has been the guest of honor, who has decided to stop by right after these surreal exercises with the same outfit in which she appeared in the video.

But not only that. To everyone’s surprise, the one from Barranquilla has announced that she will be in charge of voicing the soundtrack of the Copa América 2024. A football event that will be held between June and July of this year. Shakira has given several details, among them, that this song will be an adaptation of her single Puntería, which is on her new album.

This will join the singer’s other hits in the framework of a soccer competition. It all started with her adaptation of Hips do n’t lie-Bamboo for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. But it wasn’t until her Waka Waka at the 2010 World Cup that she managed to make history. Something that was later added to by her La la la her at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
