Real life has led Keanu Reeves to have to face a scenario that is reminiscent of the action sequences of the John Wick saga in which he himself stars.

According to TMZ reports, the home of the 59-year-old Canadian actor was the target of an assault by several hooded and armed men last Wednesday, when he was not at home.

Los Angeles police initially responded to an anonymous call around 7 p.m. about a possible intruder on the property, but upon arrival and conducting a search they did not find anyone suspicious. However, the house alarm rang hours later, around 1:00 a.m., prompting the agents to return to the home.

Security cameras revealed that several individuals wearing balaclavas had broken a window and entered the house. Despite the quick response of the police, the assailants managed to escape before their arrival, carrying firearms, suggesting that these could be part of the loot, considering Keanu Reeves’ well-known collection of firearms.

Although it has not been confirmed whether the assailants took more from inside the house, it has been noted that the actor was not at his residence at the time of the incident. Police are conducting an extensive investigation, reviewing video from home and neighborhood security cameras for additional clues.

One line of research focuses on the possibility that the first call to the police was made by someone as part of an investigation to evaluate the response time of the authorities. This isn’t Keanu Reeves’ first brush with trespassing, as in 2014, his residence was broken into twice by intruders, and he previously obtained a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker.

The actor, known for his roles in films such as Matrix and Speed, is once again at the center of police attention while the details of this latest incident that has shocked his followers and the general public are clarified.
