Each edition of Temptation Island presents new couples who choose the Telecinco program to test, but it is also common to see several well-known faces from previous years. In the seventh, which has already ended in the absence of the reunion being broadcast, David and María returned as an official couple.
In their final bonfire, in which they have decided to leave together despite everything that happened in the program, it has become clear that Sandra Barneda has already seen them too much and hopes that their relationship is so strong that it does not need a third stage in the program : “Don’t take this the wrong way, but I hope I don’t see you here again.”
The couple has had a great role throughout the edition. David got carried away with Zaira de la Morena, who very quickly became his favorite temptress. María, on the other hand, did not find any boy who pleased her until Álvaro Boix arrived, with whom she had previously had a short relationship.
While Álvaro and María have not come to anything, David and Zaira did seem like they could become intimate. The images that confirmed it have never been shown, but Zaira claimed that something had happened between them. For his part, David has always flatly denied it.
It was not until the final bonfire that any doubts were cleared up. Just as Zaira had said, something did happen that the show’s cameras were unable to record because it happened in one of the bathrooms. As the temptress has told, and the images have revealed, she got into the bathroom, undressed and David watched attentively from the bed.
Given this, the contestant only had one option: recognize what had happened and give his own version. “She would be horny, if it’s true that she did that. I told her all the time to leave, she didn’t do anything, if she goes to the bathroom and does that, what do I do? I got horny, but I didn’t do anything at all, I stared for two seconds,” he said.
Once the whole truth has come out, the couple had to decide what to do. Despite David’s confession, acknowledging that he had participated in a kind of sexual game with Zaira, the couple has understood that they cannot be separated and that they have left together.
