Rosalía surprised her followers last Friday with the premiere of her new single, Tuya, a song resulting from the fusion of genres such as reggaeton, techno or flamenco; in addition to the use of instruments such as the Japanese koto, which once again shows the Catalan’s eagerness to experiment.

A song in which the singer describes herself as “a piece of heaven and a singer as soft as cashmere”, which also reveals having lived a passionate love, one of those that cannot be forgotten. A romance that her followers have begun to speculate could be the one she would have lived with actress Hunter Schafer. However, it has been Rosalía herself who has clarified who Yours is addressed to.

The singer got up early and went to the morning program ¡Anda Ya! from Los 40, where she has explained all the details surrounding the song. The Catalan sat with Dani Moreno, El Gallo, and Cristina Boscá; and she explained that the song was inspired by Japan, where the commented video of her was also recorded.

“People are enjoying it,” Rosalía thanked, revealing that the song was Japanese-inspired not only in the atmosphere of the video and its style, but also in the sound thanks to the use of the koto.

“Yours is inspired by her traditional music, but there is a mixture of several layers that remind one. It was perfect to be able to get there,” acknowledged the artist, who also works as a producer on this song.

Now, the collaborators of the program also wanted to know about all the rumors that circulate around her letter and the alleged relationship between her and Hunter Schafer. Faced with this, the Catalan did not respond directly and decided to let her followers continue making up their own stories: “How nice it is that everyone makes their own story… I love it. As a writer, I like that others know make your own movie. I will never break the magic of ‘this is fiction and this is personal’.”

The artist began her European tour crowning with public success her performances at Primavera Sound just a few weeks after having toured her Motomami through Latin America and southern Europe. She will now tour Italy, France, Belgium or Switzerland, among other countries, before returning to our country.

A very tight schedule, for which she doesn’t even have room to sneak in her long-awaited wedding with fellow singer Rauw Alejandro, to whom she got engaged last March.
