The actor Rodolfo Sancho faces one of the most difficult moments of his life on the day he turns 49. This anniversary, which should be a cause for celebration, is overshadowed by the serious judicial situation of his son Daniel, accused of the murder of Colombian plastic surgeon Edwin Arrieta. The alleged crime, which occurred in Thailand last August, has turned this year into a true ordeal for Sancho.
Sancho’s life has changed drastically since then. Currently, his life is divided between Spain and Thailand, a country to which he frequently travels to be with his son and prepare for his trial. This situation has forced him to be a totally hermetic person so as not to give too many details about what is happening in his family.
To achieve this, the interpreter resides in Fuerteventura, in a house that has become his personal retreat, staying away from the media whirlwind unleashed by his son’s case. He bought this house in 2015, in an exclusive urbanization in El Corralejo.
Although this birthday will be far from being a holiday, he will spend it with his wife Xenia Tostado and his daughter Jimena in the strictest privacy. That is to say, he will continue with the same dynamic that he has implemented in recent months.
Most likely, this January 14 is not as important for Sancho as April 9, which has been the date chosen for the trial against his son to begin. The verdict will be of utmost importance: there is a possibility that the young chef will be sentenced to the death penalty.
Despite personal problems, Sancho has not stopped his career. His series Zorro will premiere on Amazon Prime on January 25, and his film A Walk Through Borne has been rescheduled for 2024. He has also taken a step into the business world with the creation of his production company, Intrepidus Entertainment SL, with ambitious projects in development, such as the film “Thresholds”.
