Risto Mejide is one of the most prominent figures in the world of television. More than a decade has passed since the publicist’s debut on the small screen, and since then, his popularity has increased by leaps and bounds. After six years as a jury of the talent show, where he has mostly coincided with the singer Edurne as a jury, the publicist has experienced all kinds of situations, but he had never suffered a mishap like the one he experienced during the broadcast of the last program. Risto had to be treated by the format’s doctors after injuring one of his hands after the effusive shock of a contestant to whom he said ‘yes’. A most curious situation that has not gone unnoticed.
The events occurred after the performance of Peter and Anny, a couple from Gran Canaria who left the audience with their mouths open during their show, “the Russian cradle.” It was a number full of acrobatics, very dangerous, which managed to captivate Risto Mejide, who offered a direct pass to the artists. Peter, the contestant, after managing to convince the most demanding member of the jury, was so happy that he went down to greet Risto and by bumping his hand he ended up accidentally hurting him.
“He broke my hand!
