In addition to being one of the most influential singers of the last decade, British Adele has also shown a knack for business. Recently, the award-winning artist acquired the mansion belonging to the star of hits like ‘Rocky’, ‘Rambo’ or ‘Escape or Victory’, Sylvester Stallone. However, the negotiations were not easy, and the native of the London neighborhood of Tottenham asked for a very special requirement to buy it.

The deal closed for $58 million according to the Los Angeles Times, but the singer needed a very specific item within the plot to stay put. This was recognized by Stallone himself, who revealed this curious information in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “I wanted to take her. But she told me, ‘That to me is a negative. She will break the negotiation ’. She wanted the statue ”, were his words.

The statue to which the actor refers is a large piece sculpted in metal of one of his most iconic characters: Rocky Balboa. The image of the Philadelphia boxer giving a sky hook graced Stallone’s pool for much of his stay at his residence. However, during the sale negotiation process, the interpreter wanted to take her with him when he moved, something that did not quite convince Adele to close the deal.

In this way, the British singer kept both the house and the statue, a piece that will undoubtedly remind her of its former owner and her tight negotiation. Far from being angry with her, Stalone celebrated all the reforms he was carrying out at home, a plot of more than fourteen thousand square meters located in the Beverly Park neighborhood: “I love what he is doing, he is turning it into something beautiful” .

Precisely Adele has been working hard with her partner, Rich Paul, to leave the perfect house and to her liking. The mansion has eight bedrooms and twelve bathrooms, as well as a luxury suite with a sauna, a steam room, an office with a terrace, a cinema room, a long swimming pool, a spa, a small golf course, an art studio and garage for eight cars. A huge amount of luxuries that are not cheap at all.

In order to live in the house without major complications, Adele and her partner signed a 38-year mortgage whose monthly installments amount to $227,000. An amount to break the bank, but it is not surprising considering that Beverly Park is one of the most luxurious areas in all of Los Angeles. In fact, the British singer will share the neighborhood with other stars on the international scene, such as Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington.
