TVE already has a presenter for El conquistador del Caribe, the version that the corporation prepares of the format that has triumphed on the Basque regional television ETB for several years. As confirmed exclusively by El Televisero, Raquel Sánchez Silva will be in charge of leading this new bet for La 1.
In this way, the presenter will return to the public entity after having been the main visible face of Masters of Sewing during its five seasons. His last great television appearance was as a contestant on the second edition of El desafío, on Antena 3, and is pending its premiere on platforms with the launch of Falso amor, a program in the style of La isla de las tentaciones that he will also lead.
Sánchez Silva will not be the only presenter of the version for all of Spain of El conquistador since, according to the information published by El Televisero, Julian Iantzi, in charge of presenting the original format on ETB since 2005, will also be with her.
The casting to be part of this extreme survival adventure in the Caribbean is now open. Any person of legal age can be part of El conquistador, since there is no special requirement to sign up for it. Of course, the tests that they will have to face are only suitable for those who really dare to do so.
If El conquis is also characterized by something, as it is known by its audience, it is its support for gender equality and diversity. Thus, there will be a team of supermen and another of superwomen, for those with great physical abilities, while the rest will be part of a group for less strong contestants.
The recording of the TVE contest will last four weeks, in which all the tests will take place. Its winner, in addition to being crowned as the conqueror of the Caribbean, will be awarded 100,000 euros.
