Joaquín Torres has been involved in one of the worst moments of his life. The architect to the stars is not only struggling to recover after the serious accident he suffered a few months ago, but he also has to deal with the death of his mother on March 2 after a long illness. Some issues that he has not hesitated to talk about publicly and for which he has broken down on several occasions.

And all this has ended up causing a crisis in her marriage with director Raúl Prieto, as she reported in And Now Sonsoles. “Poor Raúl is in this kind of misunderstanding, that he doesn’t know how to help me and we are having a hard time as a couple,” she said.

Something that Prieto has not spoken about, until now. The former director of Sálvame has not hesitated to speak for the Europa Press cameras and has assured that everything is “phenomenal.” “You are colleagues and I don’t want to be rude to you, but I’m not going to say anything. But everything is fine, everything is fine,” he added.

These words settle the rumors that claimed that the crisis was much greater than what the architect himself had revealed. And, despite the fact that he claims that they have not broken up, they have decided to make the decision to live separately for a while. “I have decided to take some space for his mental health. He needs it,” said Joaquín Torres.

If there is something that Torres has wrong, it is feeling like a problem for Prieto: “I suffer from seeing myself suffer because I know that I am a burden and that is very hard.” Even so, he was very clear when stating that, despite the problems, the director is doing everything possible to make everything go well.

It is not surprising that both have been overwhelmed with everything that is coming at the architect. As if it were not enough to have to overcome the death of a mother, Joaquín Torres has confessed to feeling hatred towards his brother.

Just a few days ago, the collaborator accused Julio, his older brother, of having ruined his parents, taking control of a business conglomerate valued at 41 million euros. “You are the worst of the worst. Here the only one who has been the sole administrator of everything to keep the assets is you. The day your children find out what a scumbag you are, I hope your world falls to the ground,” the architect wrote to his brother via WhatsApp.

With this, it is not surprising that he did not even want to see him at his mother’s funeral. At the door of the church, Joaquín Torres sent a clear message: “For me Julio is dead, he is not my brother, he does not exist and I hope he does not come, because that would mean that my father would leave (…) For me it does not “No one is missing, only my mother.”
