Raúl Prieto, a veteran of Mediaset’s best-known formats, leaves the audiovisual group in the midst of the maelstrom and changes that are taking place in the company after Paolo Vasile left the presidency this March in favor of Borja Prado.

A series of changes that have been taking place at the top of the chain, from the main faces behind the group’s large content divisions to communication and the transfer of programs from one production company to another. And among all of them, in turn, well-known managers.

The last to leave the ship was Raúl Prieto, director of Sálvame, who after two decades working for Mediaset España has decided to embark on a new professional path. This has been advanced by Vertele and confirmed by La Vanguardia, to whom sources from the chain have affirmed that the relationship continues to be “excellent”.

“After finishing directing Pesadilla en el Paraíso, Raúl embarks on new professional projects. The relationship continues to be excellent and we hope to maintain new collaborations in the future”, these sources have assured this newspaper.

A professional future that is unknown at the moment but in his career he can already count on directing titles such as Aquí hay tomate, Sálvame, Viva la vida or the debates on La isla de las tentaciones.

Prieto, who has developed practically his entire career in the Mediaset universe, had had an indefinite network contract with the group for three years, focused on directing and producing programs. The last one: Nightmare in Paradise.
