Queen Letizia surprised this Wednesday with a new haircut during a meal at the Zarzuela Palace that the Kings offered to the president of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, and his wife, Leticia Ocampos, on the occasion of their working visit to Madrid. In her last appearance, on Tuesday during the Thanksgiving mass celebrated in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle by King Constantine of Greece, the Queen showed her usual look, so this change has been produced in the last few hours.
The Queen’s new cut corresponds to a ‘midi-bob’, which has been designated as the star haircut for 2024. This cut, as its name suggests, is defined by the length of the hair. Instead of the traditional ‘bob’, which would be a chin-length measurement, this style reaches lower, more or less to shoulder height. A current option that brings freshness to which several personalities have already joined this season. This is the case of Penélope Cruz or Selena Gomez.
Until now Letizia wore a slightly more sober midi cut and since 2019 she has been sporting quite dark and natural hair. It was in 2015 when Queen Letizia surprised with a jaw-length ‘bob’ haircut, but this time she has opted for a more discreet cut, similar to the one she wore in 2018.
The ‘clavicut’ trend can also be seen in the Queen’s new cut, which would respond to a medium-length hair cut at the height of the collarbone and with some volume. The length is ‘midi’, a length that stylists recommend is ideal for those who do not want too drastic a makeover.
Letizia, whose arrival in the Spanish royal family is almost twenty years old and ten since, after the proclamation of Felipe VI, she became queen consort, has been becoming the owner of her own style.
