The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most intriguing episode. In this latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, we have seen how Petra has decided to deceive Feliciano to prevent the jam business from going ahead, an entire plan orchestrated by Cruz.

Likewise, the Marquise continues trying by all means to ensure that the percentage of La Promesa that Lorenzo lost in the poker game never reaches Margarita. Despite the efforts, it is clear that Margarita has not sat idly by, contacting a notary.

On the other hand, Manuel has decided to tell Jana about the relationship his mother had with Ramona. Jana doesn’t quite believe this story, thinking that the old woman’s disappearance is more than a mere coincidence.

Jimena continues to raise suspicions in the palace. The relief of the dukes’ daughter makes Jana suspicious about the false abortion, going so far as to share her theory with Dr. Bueno, who quickly tries to dispel the young woman’s suspicions.

In the next episode of La 1’s star soap opera, Cruz will try to convince Lorenzo to put an end to Margarita once and for all, suggesting murder. The marchioness will do everything possible not to give up a part of The Promise to her sister-in-law.

In the next episode, Jimena will finally leave her room fully recovered, so Cruz will begin to look at her suspiciously. The marchioness cannot believe her abortion, so she will begin to investigate.

As for the jam business, Catalina and Pelayo will continue with it, thus showing their complicity. This will cause her father to ask the young woman about the relationship she has with the Count of Añil.

Finally, Jana will discover something that could change the course of the investigation into Ramona’s disappearance: the old woman was a close friend of Dolores, a former maid of The Promise.
