The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most exciting episode. In the latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, Gregorio has been released from prison and returned to Luján. Pía, his wife, has to make a difficult decision to save her son from the man who tried to kill her on her day. As for Cruz, she can’t get her son’s departure out of her mind, about whom she still hasn’t received any news. Both María Antonia and Alonso will try to support her in these difficult times.

On the other hand, Jana will be the person who receives news about Manuel’s situation, but what she hears is not what she expected. Furthermore, Santos tries to convince Lope of her relationship with Vera. However, a witness will notify Santos himself about the situation. Rómulo confesses to Catalina that both Cruz and Lorenzo want to send her to an asylum. Manuel asks Jana to marry him in the middle of the palace hall and Vera has had to confess that she is the daughter of the Dukes of Carril.

In the next chapter of The Promise, Petra forces Pía to run errands outside of ‘The Promise’ at a time when Gregorio is watching for any move to take her and her son away. Even though she disobeys her housekeeper, she threatens to fire Pía if she does not follow her orders. Meanwhile, Mr. Pellicer will be a great ally for Pía, in addition to Rómulo discrediting Petra.

On the other hand, Alonso is increasingly fed up with his wife Cruz, since he can’t handle her melancholy anymore. The newcomer María Antonia will become a consolation, something that could endanger Alonso’s marriage. Margarita provokes Petra’s anger when she shows her the jewel that the Count of Ayala gave her to propose to her.
