Preview of chapter 336 of 'The Promise': Catalina saves Pelayo from Cavendish!

The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most exciting episode. In the latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, Salvador feels overwhelmed by Rómulo’s pressure and considers leaving La Promesa, but María Fernández persuades him to postpone his plans. Meanwhile, Jimena urges Manuel to reconsider the possibility of restoring their previous relationship, but he is adamant about the proposal to move to Madrid put forward by the Dukes of the Infantes.

On the other hand, Curro once again confronts Martina, whose animosity towards her mother’s relationship with Ayala seems to increase. After the confrontation, Curro confesses to Jana that he feels her love for him fading. Additionally, to protect her secret, Jimena attempts to poison the doctor’s cup of tea, who narrowly escapes her plan. Meanwhile, tension between Manuel and Cruz reaches a critical point when she demands that he give in to Jimena’s parents’ proposal, triggering a physical confrontation between the two and leaving Manuel determined to abandon The Promise. In the climax of the episode, Abel is determined to reveal the truth about Jimena’s pregnancy to the marquises and Manuel, while Mr. Cavendish attempts to kidnap Pelayo at gunpoint.

In the next episode of ‘La Promesa’, Abel’s confession about Jimena’s false pregnancy and his complicity in the deception shakes Manuel, Cruz and Alonso. Manuel sees this as an opportunity to end his marriage to Jimena. Meanwhile, Catalina intervenes to save Pelayo from Cavendish’s clutches, although her trust in her fiancé has been severely damaged.

On the other hand, Virtues seriously considers leaving The Promise due to his constant choking, while Salvador continues to feel Rómulo’s pressure as unbearable. The relationship between Ayala and Margarita strengthens, despite Martina’s attempts to sabotage it. Furthermore, the Duchess of the Infantes points out the resemblance between Vera and the daughter of the Dukes of Carril, something that significantly disturbs Vera, despite her denials.
