The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most intense episode. In this latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, we have seen how Jimena has had to settle in Leonor’s bedroom after being rejected by her husband.

Jana has seen how the heir to the marquisate feels overwhelmed by his marriage, so she recommends that he stay away from The Promise until the waters have calmed down. The maid has also tried to clear things up with Abel, but the doctor has reacted in an unexpected way.

On the other hand, Cruz continues to suspect that Curro, who is happy with Alonso, has discovered that her husband is her father and does not plan to sit idly by.

Finally, tension has increased between the Count of Añil and his new partner, Jerónimo Gamboa: mixing the arms business with unconditional love for Catalina has not been a good idea.

In the next episode of La 1’s star soap opera, Luján’s entire family will accuse Manuel of Manuel’s new escapade. Only Catalina, to whom Manuel left a letter before leaving, will know his true motives.

Jana will face Abel’s marriage proposal, something that will put her in disarray, since the doctor is unable to accept that the maid is not in love with him.

Curro will continue to approach positions with Alonso, so Cruz will ask Lorenzo to act quickly by sending his son to study abroad.

As for Martina’s nocturnal escapades, these will begin to transcend the service, while the gentlemen, oblivious to this, are increasingly concerned about her state of health. What happens with Martina? We’ll find out in the next episode.
