The Promise has returned to the small screen one more day with a most interesting episode. In this latest installment of the Spanish Television La 1 series, we have seen how Margarita has finally decided not to sign the contract that contained Lorenzo’s cheating clause.

After this turn of events, the Marchioness has demanded that Lorenzo do everything in his power to ensure that the transfer does not come to fruition.

Manuel, increasingly disenchanted with his marriage and his frustrated fatherhood, has made a decision: he will compete again. Faced with this news, Jimena has faked fainting in order to attract the attention of her husband.

On a happier note, Candela has decided to stay in Luján. After receiving a letter from Don Carlos, in which the teacher claims to have gone to Gijón on his own, Candela has changed his plans. Her colleagues welcome her with open arms.

As for the romance in the palace, Abel has professed his love for Jana, asking the young woman to be his girlfriend. Unfortunately, the conversation has been interrupted by Jimena’s relapse.

In the next episode of La 1’s star soap opera, Ramona will finally return to Luján, to everyone’s relief. Curro will visit the old woman, finding several unknowns surrounding her disappearance.

On the other hand, Manuel will suspect the intentions of Jimena, who seems to recover surprisingly quickly. The young woman will decide to join Cruz to go against Manuel’s wishes, proposing a honeymoon to get closer to her husband.

As for the jam business, everything is going smoothly. Catalina and Pelayo enjoy the success of this project, however, the Count of Añil seems to be hiding something from the Marquis’ young daughter.

Cruz will try to find a husband for Catalina, pointing out that his stepdaughter is already old enough to get married. Faced with this proposal, the young woman will confront the Marchioness, making it clear that she does not need a man to feel complete.
