Paolo Vasile surrenders to María Teresa Campos despite their relationship of comings and goings: ''He had the ability to communicate without fractures''

On September 5, millions of people in our country were shocked to discover the news of the death of María Teresa Campos. The veteran journalist, known for hosting programs such as What a Happy Time, The Labyrinth of Memory or From Sunday to Sunday, died in the hospital surrounded by her loved ones due to respiratory failure.

After four months of doubts, speculation and theories in this regard, Spanish Television is broadcasting a special program tonight dedicated to ‘the queen of the mornings’ to pay tribute to her memory and review some of the most notable moments of her professional career.

On the occasion of this special program, the former director of Mediaset España, Paolo Vasile, connected a few hours ago with the public channel program Mañaneros, a space in which he confessed that he will always remember the woman from Malaga with affection and emotion.

”What made me love María Teresa Campos so much is that she was a total mother (…) It is the public that decides if one is a star or not,” said the businessman. When Cantizano asked him what the mother of Terelu Campos and Carmen Borrego had contributed to Spanish television, he did not hesitate and launched an emotional speech.

”It brought curiosity, the variety of information. Going from one argument to the other without fractures (…) Global television, of life (…) It contributed that, being at 360º (…) Being next to people telling them what is happening ”, he sentenced.

The program asked the Italian about Rocío Carrasco’s friend’s treatment of people and he responded bluntly: ”Unlike those who are ‘wolves with lambs’ and ‘lambs with wolves,’ she was a wolf with the wolves and lamb with the lambs.

Throughout their career on television, Campos and Vasile did not always have a good relationship. The situation reached such a point that María Teresa Campos dedicated a series of foul words to her live when she signed on for Antena 3: ”Shut up now. They don’t even want you here. Shut up, you’ve lost seven points (…) Asshole.”

”I was not able to renew his contract due to an economic issue, because what his representative asked of me was outside our homogeneity. “When you have a company of this type you have to maintain a balance,” Vasile explained in a conciliatory tone, making it clear that he never had a real problem with the presenter.
