Doors are opening everywhere for Jorge Javier Vázquez after the end of Sálvame was announced after 14 years on Telecinco. However, one of the least expected has been the one brought to light by the former leader of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, who has shaken Twitter with a clear message.
“Very soon on Canal Red, Rojos y Maricones, presented by Jorge Javier Vázquez,” Iglesias has announced, making many doubt whether it is a trolling of the icon of the Spanish left or is it really a bet by the chain linked to the most visible face that Podemos has had since its foundation.
As if that were not enough, Pablo Iglesias, humorously assures that Jorge Javier “has a cache a bit high for us”, for which he asks for a monetary contribution to those who are interested in seeing the presenter of Sálvame on Canal Red, adding a link to donate on the audiovisual platform.
Speculation has skyrocketed in the last few hours after it became known that Mediaset does not intend to continue with Sálvame after June and that it plans to distribute the hours occupied by the program presented by Jorge Javier among several spaces, including one presented by Ana Rosa. Quintana.
Pablo Iglesias’s move has now ignited social networks, where many applaud that this new program ended up being a reality: “What a push it would be for the channel” or “Of course it would give a great boost to the popularity of the channel”, are some of the ratings of Red’s followers.
At the moment, what is known is that Jorge Javier Vázquez has a contract with Mediaset until 2025 and that -in principle- he will continue to present programs for Telecinco in the coming months, as he has already been combining with his inseparable Sálvame.
