If there are some Matrimonias par excellence in La Sexta, those are the ones starring week after week by Nuria Roca and Juan del Val in the Sunday evening magazine. Thanks to this couple we can learn very personal anecdotes and confessions, as well as discover the hobbies and customs of each one.
In fact, it was the writer who this Sunday brought to light one of the hobbies that his partner hates the most and that the protagonist does every week before starting her program La Roca. So much so that Del Val has implored a “I can’t take it anymore”, by way of complaint.
This Sunday, Nuria Roca started her traditional monologue on La Roca talking about Digital Abstinence Day, so she called on the audience to “honor the day, put the mobile phone away from the sofa and quietly enjoy” the program. Although “I already tell you that they [referring to their tablemates] are incapable because they are hooked.”
After introducing the cast that accompanies her every Sunday on La Sexta, the presenter was ironic about whether or not they were complying with Digital Abstinence Day. “Today, honoring the day, is the day that we have taken the most selfies before starting the program,” she assured. “And those that remain, because there are still publis here…”, answered Sara Ramos.
For his part, Berni Barrachina made an approach: “Today is the Day of Digital Abstinence, but it is also the week of learning with the mobile. Therefore, what do I do? Do I take it or not? To which Nuria Roca joked with a: “It may be that there is a little lack of communication between the people who put days.”
Then, Juan del Val got into the conversation and blurted out: “I can’t take it anymore, that moment, on twenty-five past, when Nuria says: ‘Let’s take a selfie'”. Next, the writer messed with his wife’s mania: “And then, he puts us in 16 different positions [he stages it]. He throws a hundred… ”.
“But then she keeps them,” revealed Barrachina. “It is true that she keeps them. And she only goes up in those that she does well, not the others, added Sara Ramos. Before these revelations about Nuria Roca, the aforementioned confirmed the data with an ironic: “It is true that only I look at myself. If then you are lucky enough to appear well, then great, but if I don’t care”.
