Six months have passed since the discreet wedding between Norma Duval and her partner, businessman Matthias Kuhn. They both said ‘yes, I want’ in November 2022, and since then they have not attended any official act. Something that has changed this Thursday, since the couple has reappeared in Madrid to attend the opening of the exhibition of the painter Alberto R. Serrano, held at the Casa de Vacas in El Retiro park.
At the event, the couple attended the assembled press, and they gave a few words about what their current life is like after getting married. “We are not going out much, but Alberto deserves it. Matthias has come from Switzerland expressly for this, I arrived two days ago,” said Norma, who posed radiantly in a white suit. The former vedette and the businessman do not usually come to Spain much, although thanks to the Catalan’s interest in art, this trip “was worth it.”
During the afternoon of this Thursday, the couple boasted of complicity and good harmony, a relationship that put its finishing touch with the wedding at the end of last year. Duval was very happy to visit the exhibition, and defined the painter as a person “with extraordinary talent”, as he says Hello!. But Norma not only talked about art in her talk with the press, but also about her new stage as husband and wife. A new stage for which she is still finalizing details.
The one who was a contestant on MasterChef Celebrity and El DesafÃo, revealed to the press that she has yet to “register the marriage” in Spain. “I haven’t had time, we got married in Switzerland and we have to do the paperwork here,” she said. In addition, she rules out holding a new celebration in Mallorca, the island where she has spent the summer since she was a child and where she loves to gather everyone around her to continue adding memories together. It should be remembered that the couple, precisely, married in secret.
Purificación MartÃn – this is the artist’s real name – has revealed during his last public appearance that he spends “very little time in Spain” since Switzerland is calmer for him. “It’s a place where I recover from the hectic life I have here,” she explained. There she has a group of friends with whom she goes “for walks and to the gym”. When she is in Madrid she likes to enjoy her family and spend time with her grandchildren, Izan and Valentina. “The word grandmother is the most beautiful in the world”, she has exclaimed.
The event turned out to be a family reunion, since Marc, Norma’s first son, and one of his nieces also attended. Norma also had a few words for Carla Duval, since in that same place, twelve years ago, the posthumous collection of her paintings was presented. The actress herself passed away in October 2010 and she is always very present in the minds of her loved ones. “She is always present in one side of my heart,” said Norma.
But the artist was not the only one to speak out. So did Matthias Kuhn, who has always been very discreet. “We are in a very stable relationship,” he said. The two have been together for almost fourteen years. The distance has marked their relationship, but the businessman considers that the kilometers are precisely “the key” because each one needs their space. “She has a lot of character and personality, and so do I,” he stated. Without a doubt, both are in a very sweet moment.
