This Thursday, Nieves Álvarez lived a memorable moment when receiving the Grand Cross of the Order of May 2, awarded by the Community of Madrid. In the majestic Real Casa de Correos, residence of the regional presidency, the model shone with her elegance and bearing upon arriving at the historic 18th century building, located in the heart of Puerta del Sol.

With great emotion, the model was acclaimed by the public present at the Real Casa de Correos. She appeared accompanied by her partner, Bill Saad, and her youngest daughter, Bianca, although she later revealed to us that she also had her parents present at the event.

The presenter of Flash Moda on TVE, in an outstanding moment both personally and professionally after celebrating her 50th birthday, received the award from the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

With visible emotion and on the verge of tears, Nieves Álvarez took the stage while being acclaimed by the approximately 650 guests present. In her first words after her award, she expressed her gratitude by dedicating the medal both “to my family” and “to myself.”

“It comes to me at a very magical moment and above all it is the recognition of all the work and many years of effort, you don’t get to the top if it isn’t with daily work,” concluded the model.
