The ex-couple has experienced some of the most tense moments since the end of their relationship, and now Colate – as he is recognized by his loved ones and the press in our country – has revealed that these moments were not only experienced after going their separate ways. Colate said in the interview that the beginning of his relationship with the singer of Not a single word was very fun, but “after the wedding, everything changed.”

The businessman was honest in the interview with the program presented by Beatriz Archidona and Santi Acosta and said that his father, before dying, told him that “this woman is going to ruin your life.” Colate recalled that the Mexican artist was “very controlling” during their relationship. “The first night wasn’t as good as I would have liked,” she began.

“I woke up on the couch, it was a kind of sign. After the wedding, everything changed. That first time I went (to work in Spain), it was hell. I had to choose between my family and my job and it was the worst decisions I made in my life. I walked away from my job, my family and my friends,” he said on Telecinco. Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera then defined his ex-wife with three words: “A capricious diva.”

The businessman claimed that it was a strong argument that marked his relationship with the singer. “Something happened that shouldn’t have happened and until today. I did everything possible to fix it,” he continued explaining. Nicolás pointed out that the separation was a turning point, due to the divorce demand with a minor child involved that gave rise to a “campaign of destruction of my image.”

Colate revealed during the interview with the Telecinco program that he has spent around half a million dollars on lawyers and is “surviving as best I can.” Vallejo-Nágera explained that she has received death threats in the first few years, and that in addition, she has suffered many difficulties in being able to see his son. “I hit rock bottom a lot,” he explained, about how he’s felt during this time.
