In an interview that changes the narrative of what had been explained until now, Bárbara Rey’s son has decided to break his silence and reveal the dark details of his family life, questioning the maternal figure who, according to him, has been the authentic source of his personal nightmare.
However, in his crude story, Ángel Jr did not want to downplay his father’s mistreatment of the star. The first-born son lamented that at that time his mother was very unprotected, something that today is completely unthinkable. He has even recounted an episode of abuse at school in which no one did anything.
One of the most chilling moments she has shared occurred when her father, armed, chased Bárbara Rey through the house with the intention of killing her, an incident that left a bullet hole next to the bathroom where the star hid. She has also recounted “a very strong episode” during a meal at home: “My father broke a bottle against the table. Blood began to come out of it and onto the ceiling. And he blamed it for causing him to cut her.”
