Last Monday, February 19, Operación Triunfo 2023 held its final gala on Amazon Prime Video and crowned Naiara as the clear winner of musical talent. La maña took first place thanks to the support of 49% of the audience, a fact that distanced it from the second place (Paul Thin), who managed to convince 26% of the public. For her part, Ruslana completed the podium and took the bronze with 25% of the votes.

Her overwhelming personality and powerful voice made the one from Zaragoza the great rival to beat from the beginning of the program, but it was her performances that elevated her to the top of the contest.

Take me or leave me, Salvaje, Desphá, The Cat in the Rain, Let’s get loud, I’m dying… Naiara can boast of having made one of the most versatile contests in the history of Operación Triunfo. For the final, the 26-year-old chose the song Sobreviviré by Mónica Naranjo and she demonstrated to the millions of viewers who were watching the gala that she could have perfectly won La Voz and that there is no challenge that she can resist.

After the broadcast of the final, the contestants of the Gestmusic program attended a closing party along with teachers, judges, family members and different workers and members of the musical show’s technical team. The next day, the winner, the finalists and the academy director, among others, gave a press conference from the set and spoke to the media.

The general feeling was one of joy and fatigue. Everyone present admitted to having really enjoyed the party and being very happy with the reception of the musical contest, as well as with the great social impact that this edition of OT has had despite being broadcast for the first time on a paid platform.

During the press conference, Naiara was simple and honest and acknowledged that she is willing to break ‘the curse’ of the OT winner and achieve fame with her songs and shows. In addition, she was very grateful for the popular support (“I’m shocked, I need to assimilate everything, it’s a dream”) and made it clear that between her and Lucas there is only a ”beautiful friendship”: ”He’s like my brother” ‘.

When they asked her what she would do with the prize money, the young woman was clear: “The first thing I am going to do with the 100,000 euros is tune up my car and then invest it in my project.”
