Nagore Robles has wanted to speak out about the media war that Bárbara Rey and her son, Ángel Cristo Jr., have been having for several months. The controversy began when the star’s son gave an interview to the ¡De Viernes! in which he confessed the traumatic childhood that he had lived with her parents.
Since then, the Cristo Rey family has been divided into two very well-defined sides, Bárbara Rey and her daughter, Sofía Cristo in one, and Ángel Cristo Jr., in the other. A complicated family situation that became much more controversial with the participation of Ángel Cristo Jr., in Survivors.
Nagore Robles spoke about this entire media battle this past Thursday. The television collaborator attended the third edition of the Ídolo Awards, held at the Gran Teatro Caixabank Príncipe Pío in Madrid. There, EuropaPress reporters had the opportunity to ask him about the situation that the Cristo Rey family was going through.
It should be remembered that the former Big Brother contestant had a high-profile relationship with Bárbara Rey’s daughter years ago. And although Nagore Robles is going through a unique personal moment with his current girlfriend, the influencer Carla Filia, he did not want to miss the opportunity to talk about what was once his in-laws, although without going into too many details.
”I don’t know Barbara as a mother. I know mine, I don’t know the others, I wouldn’t like to judge any woman as a mother,” the collaborator acknowledged. Of course, Nagore Robles took the opportunity to talk about the contest that the star’s son was doing.
”I think he is a boy with many traumas, who has had a hard time taking this step of entering television, many years. I don’t think he gave it at the best time and it makes me very sad. “I think he has had a very difficult life,” confesses Sofía Cristo’s ex-partner, who in turn insisted on her refusal to get involved in family plots. ”I don’t take a position in those wars, but I hope that life gives Ángel all the happiness that he deserves and that he has not had,” he stated.
Regarding the controversy generated by the alleged letter from Barbara Rey, Robles assured that he understood Ángel’s position in refusing to read the letter. ”I understand that you want to protect yourself and focus on what happens there,” he declared. Furthermore, Nagore assured that he was looking forward to seeing a change of attitude in Ángel Jr., and that he hoped that the contest would benefit him.
