Starting this Wednesday and until Monday, February 26, Milan hosts its fashion week. The Italian catwalk, one of the most reputable in Europe, becomes the focus of the industry not only for its usual display of high-end tailoring and tailoring for the next season, autumn/winter 2024, but also for the debut of new creative faces at the head of large and historic firms.

The Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has organized some intense days with fashion shows, presentations, exclusive parties and appointments, also virtual. In total 161 proposals, of which 56 are physical parades, 5 are digital and the rest are planned as an event.

Among the heavyweights of the Italian industry, names such as Fendi, Alberta Ferreti, Roberto Cavalli, Max Mara, Prada, Emporio Armani, Sportmax, Dolce stand out in these days.

After the departure of Alessandro Michele, Sabato de Sarno consolidates itself in this fashion week – after debuting there during the men’s catwalk in January – thus giving a change of direction to Gucci and returning it to its most classic and sartorial essence. On the other hand, it is worth highlighting the debut of creative directors Adrian Appiolaza, for Moschino, Walter Chiapponi, for Blumarine and Matteo Tamburini, now at the head of Tod’s after Chiapponi’s departure.

These days are also marked by the return to the Italian catwalk of Marni and Elisabetta Franchi, the massive parade open to the public by Diesel and the presentations of emerging brands that seek to consolidate themselves in the exclusive panorama of Italian fashion, such as Cozy Sunday, Jarlzhang , Maison Jajia, Raisa Vanessa and Khrisjoy.
