As if something was missing after everything he did on the field, Lionel Messi has become one of the main disseminators of the “Argentine Brand.” Every time 10 takes a photo with a product, it immediately goes viral and generates madness among fans. This happened with a churro factory, with a grill and now also with a game of marbles.
This is a special collection made by Tinka, the only marble factory in Latin America, which is located in San Jorge (Santa Fe). It was launched in December 2023, when the first anniversary of the world title in Qatar was celebrated, in tribute to the champions. Their existence reached the ears of the captain of the National Team, who did not want to miss them.
The series has 30 marbles, 26 of which are dedicated to the players who made up the champion team in Qatar. In the remaining ones, coach Lionel Scaloni appears and there are three special ones: the Cup with the date of the final, Messi kissing the trophy and the three stars.
The photo of Messi with the collection of marbles that went viral was taken in the Inter Miami locker room a few days ago. They were approached by none other than Miguel Del Sel, comedian and former Argentine ambassador to Panama, who made the arrangements through the vice governor of Santa Fe, Gisela Scaglia, and Senator Esteban Motta.
“We still can’t believe that this photo is real. Thank you captain for your humility in accepting the collection of balls from our factory, we are very happy that it has reached your hands! It is our small tribute to the National Team that gave so much joy to all Argentines,” Tinga, the creator of these marbles that reached 10, wrote in a proud post.
Leo missed the FIFA date due to a physical problem and was not part of the National Team’s friendlies. He stayed working on his recovery in Miami with the aim of being able to return to the courts in the quarterfinals of the Concachampions. And it is clear that Inter needs him a lot: without him, on Saturday they were beaten 4-0 on their visit to the New York Red Bulls. The statistics do not lie: in the 11 games that Leo was not there, Inter Miami accumulated just 27% effectiveness, the result of two wins, three draws and six losses. He scored 16 goals and they scored 28.
“We see Leo on a day-to-day basis. As I said last week, he already goes out to the field to do work. Obviously, with the recovery group. And we are taking it week by week,” Tata Martino commented regarding the Leo situation. For now, the man from Rosario would miss next weekend’s duel (New York City) for the MLS and would reappear on Wednesday, April 3, in the first match of the series against Rayados de Monterrey.
