Mercedes Milá has opened up in the latest Sálvame Deluxe about her professional career but also about her current mental health. Since she was first diagnosed with depression, she has decided to show her progress to support those who feel like her.

The presenter has explained that she has suffered up to 3 depressions and that “it took me years to understand that depression is chronic and you have to fight against it.” In fact, Milá has had no problem recognizing that there came a time when she had to prioritize herself and leave television despite how much she likes it.

In fact, he explained that “I’ve been working on TV and I was dying until I left the dressing room.” She is convinced that she was able to “get all the enthusiasm” when going on set thanks to the adrenaline of the moment and the “professionalism of years and years”. Although, “later I was defeated and began to cry at home.”

Now he affirms that he is “super super well”, but that to stay that way he has to continue his “fight”. “Eat yourself well, go to the psychologist, I have a naturopath…” and a support system that surrounds you when “you don’t need to be alone”. In this case, she has explained that her brothers have not left her alone at any time.

Given the good state of mental health in which he acknowledges that he is, he now takes the opportunity to give visibility to depression and, in general, to the importance of mental health. “When I was bad, I wanted someone like Alejandro Sanz (when he told that he was depressed)” to feel identified.

“When you’re as bad as the people who are listening to us, it’s finding the light at the end of the tunnel and I’ve found it.” Still, she is fully aware that she could feel a depression again.

Before saying goodbye to her latest Deluxe, Mercedes Milá addressed the camera “to all those who are on a salary that depends on La Fábrica de la Tele. Life is ahead, no nostalgia. What if they don’t understand you here nothing happens, they will understand you there”.
