Antonio Canales is one of the most beloved public figures in our country. Although he has an extensive career as a dancer behind him, the Sevillian was able to show his most vulnerable face and his overwhelming personality in his participation in the 2021 Telecinco Survivientes program.

The artist is going through a good professional and personal period and is working on different shows in which he teaches his followers his love for flamenco and where he shows his passion for dancing. Between publication and publication showing his day-to-day life and showing what he does and stops doing, the Andalusian has worried his fans by uploading a photo with an oxygen mask.

A few days ago, the 61-year-old former National Ballet dancer shared a photo in which he was next to a machine that was providing him with oxygen. The artist accompanied said print with a phrase that set off all alarm bells: “Very difficult times! Life goes by at times. What does nobody know…”.

Given the concern of his loved ones, colleagues, the media and his followers, Canales uploaded another post to clarify what had happened to him: ”Thank you for your messages and attention. He has been an ugly scare. Altitude sickness, but this was not my day. I love you”.

The scare caught Antonio Canales in Mexico City, a city that is more than 2,000 meters above sea level, so this would be the main reason that could have caused the flamenco dancer’s discomfort.

The tense moment has worried the more than 50,000 followers that Canales accumulates on his official Instagram account, although he quickly uploaded many other publications showing that he is having wonderful days and that he is almost one hundred percent recovered, although he will be more careful looking forward to avoid more scares like this.

The Sevillian has thanked all the support he has received these days on social networks since he announced that he suffered the health complication, since after publishing the photo with the oxygen mask, hundreds of people came to wish him the best and to express their love to the dancer

Among the people who sent him encouragement, some famous people stand out, such as the singer Kiki Morente, Sara Carbonero’s ex-partner, who wrote him “Cheer up Tito Antonio, we love you!”.
